Diveagar is a white sand beach that shot up in popularity after an accidental discovery of a golden mask of Lord Ganesha. It is a part of a cluster of three beach towns in the Raigad district – the other two being Shreevardhan and Harihareshwar. The Roopnarayan Temple is on of the must visit attractions near the beach. The prime attraction of the temple is its beautifully carved 900-year-old statue of Vishnu that was carved during 12th century C.E.
The length of the beach is approximately four kilometres and is scarcely populated with clean and peaceful surrounding. Various water sports activities is offered at the beach.
