Chidiyatapu is an island belongs to south Andaman administrative district, it is part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island locate 23NM from the Port Blair town and the unmanned lighthouse was commissioned in 2009. 15 meter composite masonry Tower Painted black and White band color scheme and has a LED flasher light powered by battery and solar panel. Accessibility to this lighthouse by road from Port Blair up to chidiya Tapu village and then by walk of 30 minutes through forest.
